What is Lexcel?
Lexcel is a highly regarded and internationally recognised accreditation awarded by the Law Society of England and Wales. It represents the benchmark for excellence in legal practice management, focusing on client care, risk management and operational efficiency. It is a long and rigorous process to obtain a Lexcel accreditation, which demonstrates a law firms’ commitment to continuous improvement and client care. According to The Access Group the number of law firms in England and Wales is currently just under 10,000 and only around 1600 of those firms are Lexcel accredited. The Lexcel accreditation provides reassurance to clients that they are working with a reputable and reliable legal services provider.
