Personal Injury
A personal injury can be a physical injury, disease or illness or a psychological injury or illness. It may or may not result in death.
Examples of personal injuries include an injury at work (including a work-related illness), a psychological illness caused by stress at work, an injury caused in a road traffic accident, an injury received as a result of faulty goods or services, an injury caused by tripping over a paving stone or similar, an injury caused by a trip in a shop, office or school, a psychological illness suffered as a result of abuse as a child, an injury caused by errors in hospital treatment or by vaccinations, a physical or psychological injury sustained in the course of a crime or a psychological illness caused by discrimination or harassment in the work place.
If you want to take legal action to claim compensation for a personal injury you will need to get advice from a solicitor specialising in these types of cases. This must be done as soon as possible as there are strict time limits on taking legal action.
From simple to complex injury claims, including those involving medical negligence, we offer expert advice. Kevin J Bowden is a member of apil (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) and is able to advise clients upon the various funding options open to them to enable them to pursue their cases including, in many cases, no win no fee arrangements.
